Albouy’s Point

2022 – The current project represents the first phase of redevelopment of the Albuoy’s Point Park, renamed Point Park.

Significant upgrades were made to the existing park such as landscaping, pathways, new seating, improvements to the pedestrian and waterfront amenities. The design of the park and marker were influenced by the Bermuda Triangle also known as the Devil’s Triangle. The goal of the project was for Bermuda to take an ownership of the idea, and create a physical representation of what has been tied with Bermuda’s history. The walkway and the marker are all in the shape of the triangle to reinforce this idea. On July 5th, 2022, Principal Owner, Jonathan Castro, was honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the reopening of Albuoy’s Point and the reveal of the Bermuda Triangle marker. Cooper Gardner were the architects behind this stunning open space park.
